About Wailyspace

Wailyspace is a workspace for people who plan, make and deliver visual work — films, campaigns, shoots, launches — and need the material and the schedule in one place.

What Wailyspace is

Two connected surfaces. The canvas is an infinite visual space for boards, notes and references. The calendar is where production happens — tasks, deadlines and time. Projects tie the two together: a project’s dated cards are exactly what fills the calendar.

What it does

The things the product is built around, in the order most people meet them:

  • Puts the whole job on one canvas: reference frames, notes, checklists and dated deliveries side by side, arranged the way you already think about the work.
  • Draws the line between two things: pull a wire from one card to another to say this leads to that — straight, curved or routed; solid, dashed or dotted.
  • Straightens a messy board in one pass: sweep a selection and align it or space it out; drag a card and guides show what it is lining up with.
  • Keeps a folder for the material and a project for the work, so nothing is scheduled twice.
  • Backs up to a Google Drive you already own, and picks the workspace up again on the next machine you open it on.
