What changed in Wailyspace, newest first. A curated list: the engineering log behind it is longer and more technical.
A help centre on the site, and a better phone
7 September 2026
- The help centre is public at wailyspace.com/help: the same guides as inside the app, searchable, with the screenshots.
- Privacy and Terms pages exist, marked as placeholder text until the real policies are written.
- On a phone the Boards sidebar fits between the header and the bottom controls, and the header and dock stay reachable.
- The phone header no longer paints an empty blocking capsule, guest controls wrap, and a board-name draft is never saved by accident when the header hides or the board changes.
- Image annotations work by touch: drawing follows the finger, a lost touch cleans up, and annotations stay where they were after a resize or a reload.
- The plus menu on a phone reaches every utility, and the dock’s pop-ups always land inside the screen.
- The eight utility windows fit the screen: headings, Close and actions always reachable, each with its own scrolling.
- wailyspace.com is now the marketing site; the app lives at app.wailyspace.com, and connecting Pabbel Drive happens there too.
Readability, stability and Check-In

- Check-In records your work shift: check in, take breaks, check out, across midnight if needed, with attendance kept apart from task time.
- Accent colours stay readable everywhere, hover included, and the same controls look the same across the app.
- Local edits survive a reload, and the workspace opens with the right cards and counts.
- Cancelling a prompt never leaves a stray card, wire or Undo step behind.
- Keyboard focus is visible and consistent, including in forced-colour modes.
- The connection palette keeps its side, can be worked with the keyboard, and scrolls without moving the canvas.
- Heading controls on the canvas are reachable again, and hidden sideways scrolling is gone.
- Card labels and selections no longer shift by a few pixels while editing or selecting.
- Sketches keep their strokes: idle rendering follows what was saved, and only active drawing saves.
- Typing in documents, project notes and tasks no longer loses a character after Enter, Tab or Bold.
- Clear notices when a workspace or board is not yours to open.
Dates on the calendar, re-pluggable wires, a first-run tour

- Pick a task’s dates on the compact calendar itself: press Dates and drag across the days.
- A connection’s ends can be picked up: drag one onto another card to move it, drop it on bare board to disconnect.
- A first-run tour walks the app one real element at a time.
- Connector lines can be styled: thickness, solid, dashed or dotted, arrowhead shape and direction.
- Menu is a switchboard: Timeline, Workload, Hours, Trash and Pabbel Drive are switches that put those buttons on the toolbar or take them off.
- The rail starts leaner, and the bottom dock carries Timeline and Trash by default.
Customise everything, clearer confirmations

- Customize toolbar offers all fifteen tools, and the rail’s panels can be turned off too.
- Confirming a delete says what happened, and Delete is a visible button in the project and task panels.
- A card shows what it can do when you select it: its action row and its connect-and-align handles; “Align flow” lines up a connected chain.
- Every bottom-dock button has a tooltip, and flows end on a visible Done.
- Cards, panels and pickers share one look: one title size, one label style, one field style.
Access roles, calendar days, workspace shelves
2 September 2026
- The app is canonical at app.wailyspace.com.
- Each access role explains itself behind a ⓘ, and participants can be removed from a project for good.
- Task descriptions use the same editor as project setup.
- The compact day list shows two-line rows, day numbers and “Coming up”; the open day is highlighted in both calendars, and Add creates on it.
- Workspaces sit as shelves in the sidebar, each with its own colour and icon, reordered by dragging.
- Production basics: access roles per project, folder sets, guided task creation, review notifications by bell and email, and a work ledger whose hours survive a deleted task.
