Effective date September 8, 2026 · Last updated September 8, 2026
Wailyspace is a service operated by Waily.
At Waily, we believe that your data belongs to you. This Privacy Policy explains how Waily ("Waily," "Wailyspace," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, protects, and discloses information when you use the Wailyspace website, applications, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By using Wailyspace, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Our Privacy Commitment
Our approach to privacy is simple:
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not rent your personal information.
We do not sell, license, or provide your private workspace content to advertisers.
We do not use your tasks, nodes, projects, notes, workflows, files, or other private content for targeted advertising.
We do not share your information with third parties for their own independent advertising or marketing purposes.
Your private Wailyspace content stays private unless you choose to share it.
There are limited situations where another company may technically process information on our behalf, such as Stripe processing a payment or an infrastructure provider storing encrypted application data. These providers may only process information as necessary to provide services to Waily and are not permitted by us to independently sell or use your Wailyspace data for advertising.
We may also disclose information where required by binding applicable law or where necessary to protect Wailyspace, our users, or the security of the Service.
2. Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on how you use Wailyspace.
Account Information

- your name or display name;
- email address;
- username;
- profile picture;
- account preferences;
- authentication information;
- account creation information;
- subscription information;
- workspace memberships; and
- account settings.
Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, never in readable form.
If you sign in with Google, Discord or X, we receive the information you authorize that provider to give us, usually your name, e-mail address and profile picture. The provider's access tokens are stored encrypted.

We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We do not allow advertisers to access private Wailyspace projects or workspaces.
We do not monetize your private tasks, nodes, projects, notes, or files by selling access to their contents.
9. Limited Service Providers
Running an online application requires certain infrastructure.
We may use carefully selected providers for functions such as:
- payment processing;
- cloud hosting;
- database hosting;
- file storage;
- content delivery;
- email delivery;
- authentication;

These companies may technically process limited information while providing their service to Waily.
They are not authorized by Waily to independently sell your information or use private Wailyspace content for their own advertising.
We attempt to provide providers only with information reasonably necessary for the relevant function.
Today these providers are:
- Cloudflare, which hosts Wailyspace, its database and its file storage and delivers the site and the app;
- a Google Drive you connect yourself, when you turn on the backup feature: your workspace copies go to your own Drive;
- Discord, where the problem reports you send from inside the app, including the screenshots you attach and the e-mail address of your account, reach our team's private channel;
- our own mail server, for the e-mails Wailyspace sends you; and

If you participate in a shared workspace, other authorized members may be able to see information including:
- your display name;
- profile picture;
- account identity;
- comments;
- task assignments;
- activity;
- edits;
- contributions; and
- content you place into that workspace.
Workspace owners or administrators may have additional permissions over the workspace they manage.
12. Legal Requirements
Waily does not voluntarily provide private user information to unrelated third parties.
However, we may disclose information if we are legally required to comply with a valid and binding legal obligation.
Where legally permitted and reasonably possible, Waily may seek to:

14. Business Changes
If Waily undergoes a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing transaction, or sale of substantially all of the Wailyspace business, information associated with Wailyspace may transfer as part of that transaction where legally permitted.
Any successor handling personal information would remain subject to applicable privacy obligations.
Where required by law, affected users will be notified of material changes to the handling of their information.
15. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate Wailyspace or satisfy legitimate legal, security, accounting, payment, or operational requirements.
Account information may generally remain while your account is active.
User Content may generally remain while your account or relevant workspace remains active.
When you delete content or an account, information may remain temporarily in:

Where legally required, appropriate safeguards will be used for international transfers.

We use reasonable administrative, organizational, and technical safeguards designed to protect Wailyspace information.
Depending on the applicable system, protections may include:
- secure authentication;
- encryption;
